Chloe O'Keeffe takes us through the absolute essentials for your big night.
Debs season is well and truly underway, and a day isn’t going by where we’re not greeted by Snapchats of yet another Debs! Debs is, quite frankly, one of the most exciting times in a student’s life to date. From the dress shopping to the photos to the early morning breakfast, it's really a unique experience.
Of course, one of the most important things about the Debs is the look. Getting the perfect dress and hairstyle, not to mention trying to maintain that throughout the night! Not to worry, these are the only things you need for your big night:

1. Eyelash Glue.

Eyelash glue is a given for those who are wearing falsies for the night, as sometimes our lashes can tend to come up at the corners or outside. Duo glue, at a retail price of 5 euro, is compact and small, and won’t take much room up in your clutch. You'll be glad the following day when your lashes are perfect in all your pics.

2. Nail Glue.

Again, a given for those who are sporting false nails for the evening. False nails look amazing, but only if you have all 10 securely on your fingers. Nails can come off very easily with just a little snag on your purse the wrong way if they're not secured properly, so prepare for all emergencies.

3. Clips & Slides.

Sure, you got your hair done all nice and pretty at 9 o'clock this morning, but it’s almost inevitable with the Irish weather and the amount of dancing you’ll end up doing that your hair may just falter - a little. This is where hair slides come into the equation, just for a little fix- up! Bring as many as possible because you know there's going to be someone else there who needs a little pick me up.

4. Travel size perfume/Deordrant

Referring back to the amount of dancing you’re sure to be doing, perfume and/or deodorant will freshen you up after that little rave! A serious must have.

5. Powder

Powder is my personal ultimate make-up must-have for a debs clutch, as it will combat any shininess that may evolve from your foundation after a few hours.

6. Long- lasting lipstick

Or lipgloss, whichever you prefer. You're definitely going to need a little top up throughout the day and night, so make sure you don't forget some.
